It is used as a yellow colorant. Hermcol® Yellow 10G is a lemon yellow powder pigment with a mean particle size of 0.16 μm. It exhibits good tinting strength and fastness and has good solvent and heat resistance. Hermcol® Yellow 10G has a strong greenish shade and the shade is more greenish after adding titanium dioxide. The tinting strength of Hermcol® Yellow 10G is low. The required concentration of pigment is 1.15% when blending with 5% of titanium dioxide to achieve 1/3 SD in flexible PVC, while the required concentration of pigment is only 0.27% when blending with 1% of titanium dioxide to achieve 1/3 SD in HDPE. Application Hermcol® Yellow 10G is recommended for offset inks, water-based inks, solvent-based inks, NC inks, industrial paints, powder coatings, textile printings, plastics, rubbers.
